What kind did you use? These Redline Elites are a little more expensive but zero fitment issues.I had hood struts till my hood didn't allow them. Makes it all sorts of wrong on alignment on the driver side and passenger side sits too high up then the hood rubs on the bracket on the passenger side. I took them off.
One of the top reasons I am considering an aftermarket hood if a body shop can't fix it.
Ford Performance and Redline Elites. Doesn't matter, both are awful with what my hood looks like afterwards. The strut causes it to pull the hood down more on the driver's side while the passenger side is the complete opposite and sits above the fender line while the hood is closed. It looks absolutely stupid. I installed these on my 17 with zero issues and no fuss whatsoever. What kind did you use? These Redline Elites are a little more expensive but zero fitment issues.
Ugly or not, you are protecting the interior of your ride.Installed my Amazon special side window covers. They are ugly as all sin but my car lives outside and I don't daily it so when I know it's gonna sit for a few days these get called into duty.

Can't you use some washers to make it flush?Ford Performance and Redline Elites. Doesn't matter, both are awful with what my hood looks like afterwards. Here are some pics of my hood closed with them on:
It's a condo parking lot so that's a whole other person. I live on the first floor with the rest of the peasants so our spots are not covered )=Kick the Honda into the driveway....unless that is your wife's vehicle.
Yeah with being outside i take it as a challenge to see how ocd i can get. might buy the rear window one as well but with rear seat delete it's a bit of a pain so we'll see.Ugly or not, you are protecting the interior of your ride.
I would go with the ceramic tint, it will keep the heat and UV down, along with some privacy.Yeah with being outside i take it as a challenge to see how ocd i can get. might buy the rear window one as well but with rear seat delete it's a bit of a pain so we'll see.
did that to. 35 all around. Except front we can't do that here.I would go with the ceramic tint, it will keep the heat and UV down, along with some privacy.
