Nope, but I might try and find some bronze overlays or something. I like having the Mach1 logo on her. Makes her feel special. Going to experiment with the hood graphics and get Mach1 on there too if I can make it look awesome.
I applaud you wanting it to retain and proclaim the M1 pedigree

@traxiii the GOAT of the M1 group
Thanks, I have now, what I envisioned when I ordered her!
Edit: Short of the decal which I'm working on.

I'm super curious about how this would look with the decal on hood. The gt350/500 got special hoods why didn't we )= I also am on the thought of I paid money for that decal it needs to stay lol

car looks amazing

More goodies from Santa Steeda

I really wish they would brush the color out of the stainless. It's an oxide layer from the atmosphere. If they brush the part the chromium can do its job on helping stainless be.... well stainless. Chromium is what gives stainless steel it's corrosion resistance. Especially at higher temps tj@steeda
Too bad @tj@steeda don't make em' like @WD Pro does. Ugly duckling, now a fricken' thing of beauty!

I would pay extra for this version.
@WD Pro did a hell of a job.
Thank you, but I can’t take all the credit :like:

I did the paper patterns and got the stainless braces cut - front and back plates are different as the tubes taper (or mine did) :

The guy who welded my gate welded them in place for me :

He pickled the welds and I dressed them up and put a basic brushed finish on the full assembly :

I put the Steeda rear braces, subframe bushings, and bushing supports on last night. It was a fun couple hours under the car. My car feels amazing now. With the steeda jacking rails, BMR k brace, and BMR vertical links, I can’t imagine the car could feel any better. I could tell a difference just backing out of the garage, going down the curb, and into the street. Got rid of that rear end wiggle i could have out of corners and even on highway on ramps.

I will get it aligned and make sure its all dialed in.

I dont think people would think the Camaro was better chassis wise, if the car came with these parts stock. Not that you cant upgrade an Alpha chassis as well….

I take back my comment on the louvered hood...I didnt notice the rear window and obviously forgot you had those on there. While I have never been a fan of louvers, your car looks simply amazing! Very nice job with making your own. Definitely leave the hood decal off. It looks clean and like it all belongs. Someone mentioned maybe one of the talented CAD forum folks could take the photo and add the decal digitally but man that car is cherry!

Is that the correct oil separator for the M1 ?

It doesn’t look like its on the bracket, like it’s hanging?

The attached highlights two pushpins which help connect the unit to the engine. But I'm not sure if everyone can use them (US, UK, engine mods, etc.)

FWIW, I have a J&L unit which has no bracket. The tubing is stiff enough to hold everything in-place. I was initially concerned about movement, loosening, rubbing, etc., but have had 0 issues.

Loving My New Look but still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the hood decal. Pics aren't the best, very cloudy and late in the day.

I'll take the OEM wheels of you, since they are probably taking soooo much space ;)

I did some nice driving today to charge the battery before coming frost, probably a last drive of this year...

The unit M-6766-A50A has no pushpins but a bracket that it sits on. Looks like this one comes from a GT and has some years on it. Functionally, there's no difference.
