I got the HP camber plates flipped and a more aggressive alignment dialed in at a local shop. Car was as delivered 1840 miles ago (1400 of that from the 3-day drive home). I felt the car handed well although I’ve really only started to push it in the last few hundred miles. I noticed the tram-lining but didn’t feel it was excessive…I guess im somewhat used to it from other vehicles with sticky 200tw tires and “track” alignments. One thing I noticed immediately after picking up the car today was that the slight nervousness of the rear is gone. Previously it felt a little twitchy when accelerating and changing gear or a big weight transfer when transitioning between acceleration/braking.

Hopefully I will get off the waitlist for this weekends SCCA events (AM autox and PM Tracksprint). If not I’ll have to wait till November.

I want to get the car out on track and get more comfortable with it, then I will consider more camber. This is my first mustang and I’ve read they like a lot of front camber. Since this is a street car I don’t think I would go past -3*. I was hoping to get closer to -2.5 today but it’s fine. At least everything is set and I have a benchmark to start from.

For some background I usually autox 2-3 times a month with local groups and try to do 6 track days (HPDE/Track-Night) a year but with the Mach1 I want to get into more of the time-attack format events.

Hopefully this is OK, Shout-Out: Chi at Dynasty in Orlando. Great team, they can do routine maintenance but a lot of them also track/drive competitively and they are more than happy to work with aftermarket parts and modification. They have a dyno on site too.

From comments and quotes within another thread, this morning I performed some training, product review and demo for Race Ramps.

The car: 2022 Mach 1, HP.
The tires: 285/35/19.
The product: https://www.raceramps.com/garage-service/ramps/race/p/rr-72-2/

Like most, I have a jack and stands. As I was getting ready for Skye, Race Ramps seemed like a good idea, that they might give me certain advantages over a jack for some things.

The Ford Mach 1 Supplement references towing and refraining from grades greater than 7% for an HP. The referenced product meets that requirement.

I purchased the ramps and stowed them. Until this morning, I'd never tried using them.

I noticed some were interested in how well they would work, so I tried them out today.

Yes, they work just fine. No issues. But do take note of the tire used above. The ramps are listed as having a width of 12" / 305mm. I most often use a 285 tire, which gives me room to spare. I also have a bit taller of a tire. While I had 1.5" / 38mm of clearance on initial entry, you might have something closer to 1" / 25 mm.

1. Put the car in a place where you want it, compensating for driving up onto the ramps. Ensure the ramps will be completely flat, on a flat surface.

2. Take one end and butt it against a tire. Using a measure, find a square point of reference and make sure the ramp is true, that it's not pointing left or right.

3. Do the same with the other ramp, using the measure to square it with the other, trued ramp.

I realize there will be some instances where you just eyeball it. You can do that. I realized while I was thinking, I could be off. Before using the steps above, while things looked "right", I checked the ramps; they were splayed outward by 1.5" / 38mm; this could have been fatal to the car.

4. Drive up. You'll notice the lip so you don't drive over. I simply drove onto them like entering a driveway. I actually used the gas a bit to "press" against the lip. Things went well. The surface is textured for traffic. No slipping.

I was left with about 18" / 457mm of clearance. No obstructions. And I can remove part of the ramp for even more space.

I'm really digging those wheels as an alternative to the HP rims everyone has. Did you go 19x10 285s square?

Thank You. I tip my hat to SVE and LMR. The spoke design kind of plays with the eyes. The gloss black contrasts with the blue paint, and ties in with the gloss black striping. Rim weighs 23.5 lbs/10.6 kg.

Yes. 19x10, +35 offset. 285/35/19, Michelin A/S 4. Ford TPMS sensors. Straight swap. Wheel off. Wheel on. TPMS synch'd in moments of first drive.

LMR supplies matching Gorilla Nuts when buying a set of four; other vendors might supply matching nuts as well.

I made a custom muffler from steeda H-pipe, because I got kooks headers with green cats and dont like the rasp. Original muffler was to much muted... The cover of muffler body is riveted so this give me possibility of making some adjustments.. It's very experimental, so this is version 1.0  Only listened to it in the garage so far, and it seems to be a bit lower, so probably a 1.1 version with more tube perforation. But we'll see how it sounds when driving..

Got my new set of rims in. I went with the OEM PP2 wheels in matte black. 19x10.5 for the front and 19x11 in the rear. It’s the same style I have now but black and wider. I like the look of these over the handling pack wheels.
Will be looking at getting tires over the next few months as the car is now in storage.

I hope so! :giggle: it's a material specifically designed for filling exhaust mufflers for sound and heat insulating. tried heat-gun for several minutes and nothing happened, so should be ok :like:

Gave it a garage mate for the next few weeks or so.

This is not to start a fight nor stir any pot, but the Mach 1 looks more aggressive side by side

I would disagree.. the gt350 (imo) beats the mach in a lot of ways; except finesse. that is something that the mach 1 wins at; the gt350 is more raw but in a good way
