Just dropped it off for PPF, window tint, ceramic coating, and decal install from Autodesign Shop out of the UK (extends the OEM hood decal over the top of the car and trunk). Hope to get it back Thursday, I'll be sure to post pics.

Any simple project is only one lost socket or broken bolt from becoming an all day project.

I was installing my Red Line hood struts and set my passenger side bracket down on the inner fender while I loosened the hood nut. Well.. unlike every other car I have had to work on (fox body and GM A-body), there is a gap between fender and strut tower. Yes, I knocked the bracket into the gap and down into the inner fender. As I set my ratchet down and the short 10mm socket down to inspect my stupidity... I knocked the 10mm down the same gap. :) Hoping to pull the inner fender liner/wheel well and I can atleast retrieve the bracket. I'm done for today.

I was able to use a magnetic retrieval tool when I dropped a wrench into that gap. Eh?

now that I got the jack rails on I changed the oil 2300Miles. OEM 5-30 and 1/3 bottle ceratec .
Took me an embarrassing 2 hours (start to finish).
1st time jacking and placing stands, covered wires etc by oil filter, ran it and checked for leaks, emptied 1/2 teaspoon from the oil catch can. Didn t add any oil from new but as other mentioned it may not have been to top dot when new. It was still over the lower dot.
On a lift it would take no time at all, LOL.

Done last week:
  • Steeda adjustable sway bars front and rear
  • Steeda adjustable camber plates (in Australia, so non HP car)
  • Steeda ultimate stop the hop:
    • IRS Subframe Bushing Support System
    • Billet Aluminum Vertical Links
    • IRS Subframe Support Braces
    • Adjustable Rear Toe Links
Getting a track alignment today in prep for track day on the weekend but already on the road the above changes, particularly the stop the hop kit, have made a big difference! Power down now is much better, more predictable and enjoyable.

Done previously:
  • OEM strut tower brace (Australian cars don't have this from factory)
  • White Madness orange ball shifter
  • LED lights - dome, vanity, park/marker lights
  • Mach 1 floor mats

Any fun stories? What went in and what went out? Do you plan to run any analysis on it?
Nope, just first yearly visit from prepaid 5 year service plan. They use the oil Ford tells them to, didn't ask cause I couldn't change it anyway, it's authorized dealer. There was no oil dripping from under the car, so that's a relief 😁 The mechanic for Mustang they have is great from what they say, they sold hundreds of them that come to visit them for service in the end. Not gonna overthink this and just trust them.

I asked to check if transmission fluid is filled to max and it was, so no issue there either.

Oil change sucked with the filter removal. I can't wait for Pilotgore's funnel guide.
