did you also do the front splitter by any chance?
No, I did not do the front splitter because I don’t want to put myself under stress always to take extra care when driving over all the speed bumps and ramps. And it will be hard here in Germany to get it street legal without proper documentation from Ford Performance.

I had the same problem on my Steeda hood struts, the distance between the pivot point and single stud would make it want to twist when closed. The stud is fragile and I was at the limit of torque specs so I put a high grade clear RTV under the plate and let it cure 24 hours with the hood open (less load versus closed)-hasn't moved since. I have had the side effect of the hood sitting lower in the rear since strut install unfortunately.
It’s very frustrating for sure. Probably pull mine off go back to prop. I’ve heard Rousch makes good set that do not change the position of hood

PPF, ceramic coating, and ceramic tint are almost finished.
As others have mentioned, the PPF will not adhere to the matte stripe on the hood. My installer is adding several layers of ceramic coating to the stripe.
I will post more pictures next week when I pick her up.

That's gotta be tough to cut and edge the ppf all the way around the stripe.

Never heard about such a thing, imo they are only a myth 😁
They are like some flowers that bloom and die within hours. Clean black cars are worse, as they last even less time in dusty and windy areas. 🌪

Keep it on order, its easy to do. Check out my thread M6150. A heat gun and fishing line along with light prying. I didn’t even use an eraser for the old 3M tape-a heat gun and my finger took it off. Clean 2-3X with denatured alcohol, do a dry run, then remove backing from the tape and do it. Just be careful not to engage the two red clips on the new spoiler during your dry run.
