Do you have the handling pack? I noticed after I changed my tires out after the insides had cords showing at 4700 miles that the PS4S do not pick up any rocks like the Cup 2's did.

From what I have heard, most do it between 1K-2.5k miles

At what milage did you do its first oil change?

ended up being 1300 miles because I could not get the dealership in mobile to answer a phone, and then I had to make a surprise trip to Pascagoula for work Wednesday in a thunderstorm too.... I've put 1000 miles on it in the last 2 weeks to get to break in.

Yeah, I will tomorrow. I need to adjust the mufflers again a bit. They are sagging a little on my driver's side.

Spent about 3 hours claying the car. I was not sure if it would be ok on PPF (Suntek Reaction), but it turned out working pretty well. I was using the softest clay available and a lot of lube.
The reason why I wanted to do it, was that while I had the car in the repair shop for 4 months, it got some fine particles attached on all horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, trunk, top fenders), which I was not able to remove by any conventional or pressure washing.
With the clay I got the PPF to its slick state fairly easily.

I also tested IronX on a small spot and indeed, while normally not visible, the small spots started to appear, with the typical purple streaks. Unfortunately, for the best results, one should let IronX do its business for few minutes and it seemed it did something to the PFF as well, which was getting misty, matte look. So I wiped it out and cleaned it up, immediately, which seemed to put it back into the original state, but was not convinced it was safe. I will need to discuss it with the detailer who did my PPF wrap.
