I get your point with the voodoo, but great sounding tunes is really nice as well. Kind of the best of both worlds.

To each their own, but if I was making a grand touring car I would start with a Mustang GT.

I don't know that changing out speakers would count as "an extensive stereo system" and my ears are pretty much shot from years around jet engines, but it's my commuter car and if I can upgrade a little bit here and there, I might as well.

Oh, yeah, speaker swap is reasonable. I was referring to adding several amps to the car. But as I said, your car to enjoy!

Yeah, I'm nowhere near an audiofile. But once you start changing out speakers with different specs (frequency response, impedance, power handling/RMS, sensitivity, etc) you quickly hit the limits of what stock can do (just like any system/part of a stock vehicle).

I'm amazed at how civil the 350 is (not the R). I've taken several trips down south for high intensity driving events which span multiple days. I don't have the space for a trailer so I drive the Shelby down there. I'm amazed at how enjoyable this car is cruising in 6th gear heading home; i'm usually tired and not in the mood for any driving drama on the way back. Put it in 6th and the car is Super quiet, no exhaust noise, and the stock stereo system (2019 B&O) is pretty darn good.
Now, if I was just using it exclusively for cross country trips or an in town cruiser with tunes playing i'd still own a GT or GT Vert. This car gives me the best of both worlds- a wild untamed stallion on one hand and a quiet cruiser on the other.

I drive back and forth from Memphis to Pensacola a couple times a month. I've got 4 seats and it's the best gas mileage vehicle I own. LOL.
