…picked up my better half from the airport an hour+ away, does that count?

Wow a Chevy Beretta. I haven't seen one of those since my uncle wrapped his around a tree in 1999 engaging in "youthful driving".

One of my friends had one in the late 80s/early 90s that we modified slightly. This pic was before the work was completed on the wing and exhaust cutouts.

Met up with the other two Shelby owners to put the ole Red/White/Blue back together.
This was a classic car show for the most part, but we had plenty of folks taking photos due to the color line up:

I had my car on the Dyno yesterday and in the “Stock” configuration ( I do have a lethal performance resonator delete X pipe). I am scheduled at 1:00 today for the run with my new “FABSPEED high flow cats installed. Changed them out last night, THEY SOUND AWESOME !!!
Nice perfect fit, definitely a quality product. I think that they fit better than factory.
And I would like to have a discussion with the engineers from Ford who designed that setup. What a pain to get the old ones off…..especially the passenger side. You better have 3 feet of extensions to get that one off…..
The car was running “Rich or Fat” on the big end, that’s what the green line indicated on the first chart. This was actually done Monday morning.

Ok guys here are the results in a nutshell, the difference in HP & Torque for my GT-350 at as follows. The best number for Torque before Fabspeed HF Cats is 345.25, after installation best number is 364.76. Which equates to an increase of 19.51 ft pounds at rear wheels.
The best number for HP before Fabspeed HF Cats is 420.59, after installation best number is 438.07. Which equates to an increase of 17.48 HP at the rear wheels. All figures used are “WCF”, Weather Correction Factor. The way I understand those numbers that they represent like a say 80 degree day, certain air density and so forth to allow for an even standard comparison.
My actual numbers were higher because of “improved” air conditions (cold and dense).
Therefore higher HP & Torque numbers. Here’s the supporting information.
My car is still extremely rich on the top end represented by the green line. This was actually done Tuesday morning.

Before numbers are spot on with 20% driveline loss off of 526 hp. Why people say these cars are overrated I do not know…

Are you happy with those gains?

Loss through the 3160 is more like 12-14%.

You can find 526 hp bone stock dyno sheets pretty common that end up 450-460 at the wheels with SAE smoothing 5.

Not even the A10 or the 6R80 are 20%.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really interested in HP and torque gains but what gearhead deep down isn't always happy finding a "Little" more. Especially on the street, I think these GT-350s have plenty of power. I was looking for a little more sound, and I got it. Just this side of "Obnoxious", and I like it. The car is still very quiet in "normal" mode, but open up the exhaust and it gets a "Snarl" and "Rasp" that gets my heart going. I know that its not that much quicker or faster. A group of guys were over at the place where it was on the Dyno and they had to stick the their heads in to see what was in there, they were thinking that it is a full on race car. Bad Ass is what they were saying, probably 20 times. I put the exhaust in quiet and "putted" away, they were standing there shaking just their heads.

Yes, I agree. I thought that 20% was a bit much. I guess that each driveline has it's own unique properties and characteristics. Probably the best and most "accurate" way would be to put the engine on a "engine" dyno, then put it back in the car and then on a "chassis" dyno. At the end of the day, "it is what it is"....

Installed my Goodridge brake lines. Pedal is damn solid. Trying to remember…can’t decide if it’s a placebo because something new, or if the pedal is more solid with these lines. Either way. Cool mod.

Installed front fender guards, switched to RBF 600 fluid, new brake pads all around, going to take it for a shakedown this afternoon.

New front rotors.

Attempted to remove front drivers seat. Seat will not go all the way back. Something is preventing from going back. Removed the rear bolts. Cant get to the front bolts.

Guess she is going to Ford for warranty work.
