Learned the hard way you can't get Seafoam into the tank without using a funnel. 🙄
does the fuel system actually call for seaform? wasn't there something in the manual about not doing any additives or treaments and such?

Willing to learn kind of reply...

I store everything for the season with some Seafoam in the tanks.
Bikes, cars, snowmobiles, mowers, snowblowers, weed wackers, boats...

What a stunner!

Which polish and coating did you use?
Thanks, used Menzerna 2500 compound and polish and Rupes Yellow and white polish and pads. Topped with Griots 3 in 1, cars garaged kept, had a Gyeon Coating on it before, just did like it wasn’t slick

I put fuel system cleaner and fuel stabalizer in the gas tank at various times, and never have any problems. Might have problems if I didn't use those additives.

Gave ole dirty gurl a bath..well...more like a gas station scrub :giggle:

Tried the "waterless wash and wax" out and I'm pleased with the results. Also, first time cleaning her up in the new garage

Took a ride out to a local winery with the wife yesterday. The strategy is to take the backroads pretty easy on the way out and then make sure she has 2 glasses of wine so I can be more aggressive on the way home.

Afterwards I cleaned the car up - first wash since coating. I can just dry it with a leaf blower.

My 11 year old was prepping for Forza Horizon 5 while I cleaned up the car. He said he was working on his "Heel/Toe". I laughed and said, not in sandals....

Emptied out my Ford oil seperator today on my 2019 GT350 with 5,400 miles on it. Siphoned out 1 1/2 ozs of oil. That's after 6 months, 3,700 miles, and driving a lot in the 7K-8k rpm range. And btw, no noticeable decrease in my oil level during that time. I think that's a pretty good indication of a well running engine, not burning any oil.

After four years of ownership I did my first line lock. I liked it so much I did it again. Only reason I did it was because I have new tires waiting in the wings.

So today I did an oil & filter change, and the NYS inspection, at the dealer, in preparation for winter storage. I have no garage, and no place to work on the car myself. While for an other car, this should be a no worry event, with these cars at the dealer, it's always a nerve wracking ordeal. At least they have only one particular mechanic, who is allowed to work on this car. And he is very good, in that I've never seen a single drop of oil spill from the bottom of the car after he is done.
But knowing I was going for the inspection, I knew what to expect. First, as is almost universal, the service manager tells me my tires(SC2's, 5500K miles) are bald. :headbang: Not even close, as I tried to explain how these tires are even new. Luckily the mechanic knew, and said the tires are perfect. :whew:
But also knowing they have to remove the tires to inspect the brakes, I brought my no-mar lug nut wrench, and my torque wrench. And told the mechanic I had both in the front seat, and the tires should be torqued to 150lbs. When the car was ready, I saw the wrenches weren't even touched. Luckily no damage to the wheels. And once I got home, I double checked the wheel nuts, and sure enough, none were at 150lbs torque, and some weren't even close. So I took care of them myself.
Unfortunately, you have to watch carefully everything the dealers do, and sometimes just have to do things yourself. At least I can relax for a year before doing it again.
