Finished up the fp350s hood vent today finally. Still waiting for the gasket to dry so didn't pull it out of the garage for better pics. But it's done. Really diggin it too.

Gonna have to replace my stripes on the front of the hood now, as there is a gap from the old vent, but that's easy enough.

Spool is on the vent just to apply a little pressure to the gasket on the front since there are no rivets there. Back on the road tomorrow.

Picked her up from the PPF shop.

Looks beautiful. What ppf/ceramic coat did you go with? Did you PPF the full car?

I've been waiting for mine to be done for weeks now. It should be done any day, but I won't get my hopes up. One delay after another. :(

I only am doing full ppf as the cost was already barely tolerable as-is. I think my wife would have murdered me haha

you sir, are an inspiration...there are very few things I need/much less WANT to do to a 350R, but the hood vent is both of them

It was top of my list too, and when it dropped $100 last month figured now was the time. Still insanely expensive for what it is though. Install wasn't bad having never done anything like it before, but I did put off that first cut for a while. Was just so worried I was gonna screw it up. Lol

Looks awesome in person though. I love good looking functional mods

SEBRING Track event this weekend...It was HOT but the car handled it flawlessly.

You guys with pre ‘19’s are messing with us doing that.
I actually went the other way. I just do not like larger/raised decklid spoilers. Just my preference....
Was a pain in the but because I had to redo the stripes on the trunk as they wrap around the spoiler on the 2019's

New plate, wash, and some bemaro vinyl( radiator support lettering, color match badge with white lettering, and no touchy the wiper).

Had some hidden aluminum dust in the new hood window so took a good few sprays to make sure that was cleared out. Couldn't get the plate I wanted so made a list of four letter approved words...let my kids choose from the list. I just wanted the Ford racing plate, didn't really care much with my avail options... Revs it was though, not one of my top choices, but I'll try again soon to see if my #1 pops up. They were really excited when it showed up, and I can live with it for now.

Lighting is a little weird in the pics as it was past sunset, but that grabber blue still pops.

I have a 19/20 swing on order. Was the install pretty straight forward?
Yes, all the holes are the same, the fishing line trick works, but it’s hard to drag it across because of the stud location. Be very careful With the truck it is aluminum. Also you need to polish the truck a little because the wing is exposed in 2 areas that were previous covered
