Brought my 17 R home winter storage on Saturday. This week or weekend will get a good wash. I have jacking rails on order and Diode Dynamics interior LEDs, and front splash/rock guards, Caliper studs, black lug nuts and a few other things to install as well when I can get an afternoon in the garage.

Powdercoating and striping. Also did the overlays on the lettering. Vinyl was from Bemaro. Still waiting on my painted coil covers. Think it looks pretty snazzy.

You are indeed a brave soul Brad. I would not let ANY dealer touch touch any body panel on my Shelby. My thought would be to take your car to a reputable body shop. The hood on my Shelby didn't fit for crap. Dealer said "Sometimes that is just the way they fit, after all it is just a Mustang". The body shop that removed the factory BS vinyl stripes and painted on real ones aligned the hood and fenders for me. I asked the body man how long it took and he replied, "eh, about 15 minutes".....
Best wishes in your quest.

It's mainly just the rear bumper cover and a piece below the passenger door that just needs to be clipped on.
Sheet metal is ok.

that seems like a LOT of work. Wonder how long it would last.
Not sure but I would probably have them professionally installed. But not sure I could pull the trigger without actually seeing them on a owners car and knowing how well they hold up.

On the fence with these, but itā€™s something added to the evil pumpkin so Iā€™m excited - from what I understand they have no positive aerodynamic qualities... just cosmetic - I will Tell you that they do cover a significant amount of the underside of the massive front splitter...little added protection never hurt that over 1,000$ piece, so Iā€™m not complaining !

I have them on my gt350 with the R splitter and I think they look great.
I didnā€™t like how the splitter and the winglets had a different shine to them, so I plastidipped them both and now Iā€™m happy with the look.

Finishing up a nice little project this morning.

PSA...I know this has been circulated on and off over time, but the DSS shaft clears the MGW shifter no problem. Didnā€™t even remotely need to remove the heat padding or anything.

Is that the B-line x-pipe?
