There are times where having the valves closed is essential for me. Early morning in the neighborhood, police in the vicinity, etc.. I am also one of the few that may listen to the radio on long cruises and want the exhaust quiet..

Newbie in this forum ... love this thread! Some of you are pretty sick people ;) :captain: :like:

It gonna take me some time to look at the 564 pages ...
I can second that motion.. I did it when I first started with my Shelby. Some great ideas on here for mods and basic necessities. This thread stays pretty close to task as well.
Welcome aboard!

Installed only 2 of 5 rows... LED lighting in the garage WOW what a difference in color! Can’t wait to take all the packing/plastic off this thing and give it the detail it deserves

Lighting is something so overwhelming when your doing research so I’m happy I went with these....bought a tender and finally hooked the battery up

Took it out of it's winter hibernation. Still snow on the lawns, but streets were clear of snow and any salt from recent rains. It was great to feel and hear that exhaust again. Still breaking in the new car(350 miles), so I kept the rpms to about 5K. But that was enough for triple digit mph's.

And btw, it removed all that built up rust on the rotors over the last 2 months.

It was in the 40's here in Wisconsin this week after 2 straight weeks of -10-20 degree wind chills.. crazy...
Keep an eye on that Oil Temp guage and make sure she is warmed up before giving it the beans!

Oh yeah. Waited until oil temp was near 190, and tires got thoroughly warmed up before giving it some gas. And kept a sharp eye out for some local "friends". :stop:

Put in the Ford Performance air filter, and passenger side oil separator. Like others have stated, the the flex hose was a problem fit at first. Even tried it in reverse, as others have said. But that was worse. Eventually warmed it up with a hair dryer, and was able to flex it cleanly at all angles without any kinks.
And then worked on the wiring harness that you had to remove from the mounting hole where the separator goes. Using a Dremel, I flattened out a section of the separator mounting bracket. Then I drilled a 1/4" hole in it. Repositioned the wire clamp that was on the harness, and plugged the clamp pin into the hole I drilled in the separator bracket. Makes the install look very clean, and factory original.

Nice work, I don't know why they made that second hose so difficult to connect.
