The last couple of days, I took some projects on.

After getting some new overlays from Bemaro, I decided to repaint my tow hook to match.

I used Guardsman Blue paint through Rods and Restoration (Sherwin Williams) and vinyl lettering.

The badge color is closer to LeMans Blue than Guardsman but overall, I'm very happy with the combination of the two.

I also did a deep clean of the interior and took it out before some bad weather hit.

Installed the GrimmSpeed Exhaust valve Simulators. 10/10 would recommend. 60 bucks well worth it. I was tired of cycling the exhaust into sport prior to start up, and the valves cycling during cold starts. Not to mention it sounds perfect cruising in 6th with the valves open. I have a Lethal Performance rez delete.

Thought about siphoning gas from it to run the campstove to boil water.....we are on a boil water notice in San Antonio, but no power to do so.... I think the 2/3 gallon of camp fuel should last me the next day or two, but the 93 octane in the 350 will run it as well!

I'm thinking the capless tank will make it more difficult. But it is in the garage and not in the snow like the other cars - haha.

Stay warm out there

I've ruuullllyyyy been thinking about doing these. My only hesitation has been losing control with the switch when you want it...which is retrospect is pretty darn dumb considering I've literally never had my valves closed!🙄. But not having to do the fast switch dance on a cold start sure would be a thing of glory.

Look at the AWE SwitchPath. It will allow you to have them open or closed as you like

2nd the AWE SwitchPath route. I always keep mine open but it's so nice to be able to turn it off with a button press at any time. Especially useful when leaving my neighborhood at 4am on a Saturday to go to a track day or being able to keep them closed at WOT to keep under the 90dB sound limit at Laguna Seca.

Here's my video after the install.

Another thumbs up for AWE switchpath. AWE does not list the GT350 as supported. The one for the Focus RS is the right version to get. Perfect for (barely) passing sound at Laguna Seca.

Yeah, that switch is nice if you have the need like you guys do. As I stated, having never had my valves closed, can’t really see the $300 option. But I like it.
