I totally understand Ray... my longest trip for a short distance was the Kroger near my house that I have walked to and carried multiple bags home. Go to Kroger in the Shelby on a perfect weather day... depart the house and head to Kroger... 75 miles later I pull into the parking lot. Did this fail multiple times. Damn Shelby exhaust is addictive & expensive and depreciating our resale.

I'm feeling you for sure Dave. It was 41 degrees here and I had the windows down so I could listen to that music. You are blessed with your winter weather, my Mom used to live in Jonesboro. Drive your beauty, enjoy that Shelby. We only get one time around the block. 🍻

Oil change, jacking rails install and automotiveAuthority spare placement in the trunk. Today was a good day.

If I had a cat, it would be dead.

I have those too. I also had a set for my HC before. A friendly word of caution. You can tighten down those set screws pretty good but eventually the vibrations and road bumps of the car will loosen them up. Best to recheck them every so often if you plan on keeping them on permanently. For me, I don't want to have to do that so they are spot use items. I don't like them hangin around under my car. I put them on when when I have to jack the car up. Take them back off when I'm done.
I also put these on the other day, and also wondered if they would eventually loosen up due to vibrations. My main reason for using them is for when I bring in my car for service(oil change/tire rotation), as protection against a sloppy service tech with their lifts. Do you think using a drop of blue Loctite on the threads would help?
