Drove her back from FL to NJ. Not bad mileage!

You know, after 1 year I changed my air filter as it was very dirty with pollen and bugs and dust. After I noticed a marked improvement in my MPG. The underside of the filter was almost black with dirt and junk, but you can see the underside of the filter till you remove it. I suggest anyone change it after 1 year.

That reminds me - I have an air raid filter and haven't cleaned it yet - been a year

Every 30k to 50k is the Air Raid recommended cleaning interval - wow! https://www.airaid.com/air_filter_cleaning.aspx

I shook mine out @ 6 months, and there were leaves, insects, sand, and other miscellaneous crap embedded in the filter. I'll probably shake it out every 3 months and clean it once a year.

Be careful cleaning - I whacked it on my palm (that sounds bad) to knock out the debris, and the mesh cage is very easy to bend/warp.

Hit traffic around Orlando, Jacksonville and Washington DC (always terrible). Kept around 85 mph on I95 as much as I could, but run into a lot of left lane hog yahoos - especially where it's only 2 lanes. Still impressed how well this car accelerates in 5th gear - hits triple digits in a big hurry

I gave her a bath today with Adam's Buttery wax, and detail spray. Also, not done today, but very recent had the JL Audio 10tw3-d8 installed, and complimented with an old school JL Audio 500/1 V2, with an Audio Control lc2i.

I believe i bought them from southeastcarbonworks. Can't find them anymore. I want to purchase another set just to have as a back up.
