Got a proper wash in today during a FL rainstorm . . . interesting vibe. Used P/S brakebuster for the first time; mixed results, but it was also a month's worth of brake dust.

T-minus 1 month, 9 days before I get a DD back and some bigger projects can be tackled:

1. Some different brake pads for this dust issue, and finally getting the wheels ceramic coated.
2. Different coolant reservoir
3. Fix my damn rear bumper
4. Maybe a one-piece driveshaft?
5. Touch up the tiny paint chips I keep picking up :curse:

And it will also help me avoid construction on a daily basis with the Shelby . . . a large development and re-zoning plan was just approved for all around where I live so tons of houses are about to be going up all around me.

The new Tires were installed on Friday.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
305/30/19 (4)
Decided upon a square setup even though the wheels sizes are staggered and I will not be able to rotate them.
First impressions:
Really like the look of the non stretched sidewall. Was a little worried about the 30 vs 35 sidewall height, but it really is not very noticeable. I like how the 305's in front fill out the wheel well.
Tramilning is all but eliminated and the grip felt solid.
I definitely noticed a reduction in steering response vs the MPSS, but it was not a major issue. Will most likely be purchasing a seperate set of wheels and tires for the track.

Since it was Mother’s Day and my beautiful bride was working at the greenhouse, I got my chores done and proceeded to get the Shelby reconfigured for casual summer driving.
Pulled off the factory Ford pads and changed them with the Z-26 pads.
I pulled off the “Ugly Black” CF wheels and put on the forged “Bling” wheels that my wife likes.
What a difference it is to drive with CF wheels vrs stock or aftermarket wheels.
The car just feels so much more nimble and responsive with the CF wheels.
Oh well, she likes the shiny aluminum wheels….

Crashed the BBS North America/Autohaus car show before Formula Drift as one of three domestic cars there. Sadly the weather was dogshit, but we did get to see some cool stuff behind the scenes and some old school memorabilia.

In honor of the fifth anniversary of buying my 2019 GT350 new I decided to treat it to a full interior/exterior detail with cut/polish and ceramic coating. Car looks brand new, ready for the next 5 years!

Happy wife, happy life! It's one of the reasons I went to the MPS4S tires. We have a long trip planned and she finds the tramlining annoying...

my favorite antithesis to that is;

happy husband…suspicious wife 😅

Today I decided to tackle the issue of these spots on my gauge cluster plastic. I removed the cluster entirely because my attempts at using Plast-X on a microfiber and hand-polishing was not making any headway. It was way easier once the cluster was out and on my table in the A/C to put the right amount of elbow grease into it.

Ended up using some Plast-X and a magic eraser; seemed to be the right amount of abrasiveness to get the spots out. I then tried to use the Plast-X on a microfiber towel to polish out the micro-scratches left. You'll notice in the photos that this did not work because I am dumb and/or bad at polishing - take your pick.

I'll probably need to get a small machine polisher eventually to get out the last of the light haze, but I think it looks way better than the spots.

MUTE BEFORE PLAYING THE VIDEO! I forgot I was blasting music while recording.

Did you add Z-26 pads front and back?
