I just put mine back in the garage for hibernation due to Pollen season:
The Pollen scale is as follows:
Low: 1-14
Moderate: 15-89
High: 90-1499

Today the pollen count in Atlanta hit a record high of 14,801.......!!!!!

The Shelby is staying inside for a few weeks.

Here is what kinda looks like:

That truck was just washed yesterday!

There is so much pollen, that your tires stay yellow:

At least the pollen does not rust the underbody............. so things aren't that bad!
It is like that here in NC.

Seems high. I have a 3 color set (Oxford with Velocity Blue bars and lettering EXCEPT FORD which is Race Red). IIRC mid to high $200s in 2018.

I think it might be a chore to DIY. I've seen numerous posts here that were not as smooth/glossy as that (or mine). Maybe others I haven't seen. Tells me not super easy to get the surface that smooth. I recall a post here explaining a good way to have clean edges to the bars and letters, but it disappeared after the author was banned.
I purchased mine from RPI Designs in April 2024. Performance Blue with Gun Metal Lettering. Perfect Match. $340.80. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Looks great!...sorry meant to quote original thread.. Just confirming the pricing and quality. Sometimes it's best just to get it done by a vendor...

Went out in the garage and looked at it again. Rain and Snow mix last night sent buckets full of salt unto roads that had been washed with rain just days before. So close....

I would gladly take pollen over road salt.

Nice choice in wheels! Did you go square or staggered in your wheel setup?

Replaced a messed up splitter, installed Scrape Armor so the new one stays healthy and put on new wheels and tires. 20 inch and 305s all round.

ok. That was yesterday. 😀

Sat in the garage today looking at the Shelby.
It’s been just over 5 years since I picked it up in January of 2020.
All in all, it’s been a great experience with some twists and turns along the way.
The Gen2 engine has been rock solid with just over 17k miles and no oil consumption issues. The AC Compressor was replaced at approx. 10k miles.
I’ve had to fix a few buzz/rattles in the dash and rear quarter window area.
All this has been documented in my 6g journal thread.
I have yet to find another vehicle that I desire more than this one. Still feels like a new car experience every time I get into it. The sound, handling, overall size, comfort of the car just fits me so well.
The accident back in July was a good litmus test to see where I was at mentally and emotionally with the vehicle. Was the desire there to keep it even after the accident? Would I really miss it for the rest of the driving season given the addition of the Bronco?
All those questions were answered during the winter months. Really looking forward to this years driving season.
It's still the best driving experience I’ve ever had.

Do you need a buddy to come help sit and stare with you? Seems like tough yet rewarding work! ;)
