Daily drove it as usual. I got some news that means in about 2-3 months I'll be getting my old daily driver back (2010 Accord V6) from a family member who can't take it overseas with them. Mixed feelings about them going overseas, but having a daily again means I can take on some more projects with the GT350 and not worry about having to drive it to work the next day 🤙

Hope they’re safe.

Wether you enjoy DDing a car like this or not (not starting a debate on that topic), having a DD specifically for that purpose, somehting I don’t care if gets dirty, or gets a door ding, or soda cans all in the back seat, has been life changing for me.

On one of my detail forums, someone started a thread “what’s the best money you’ve spent on detailing products?” My answer was my zero stress DD, lol.

I have to agree.... to a degree... lol
I find myself not driving my GT350 around town as much due to the crazy, distracted drivers out there, increased traffic etc..
It's just not much fun as a grocery getter. That being said, outside of several track days a year I find myself having to create "events" to take the Shelby out.
I had a 2016 Mazda CX-5 that I tooled around town in as my daily and that thing got beat up alot, washed it a couple times a year whether it needed it or not. It was stress free. I sold it to my daughter last year and bought a 2024 Bronco... It's tough, rugged, has marine vinyl seats and rubberized flooring with drain plugs. It's been a fun daily for me, especially taking off the top and doors during the summer. It's now competing for time with the Shelby because of how unique and enjoyable it is. It makes me question owning the 350 at times because I'm a pretty practical person, but the emotions that happen when I get into the 350 tell me to keep the car for as long as I can.
I just can't see myself every daily driving a GT350.
By the way, I still had the Bronco Ceramic Coated and park it way in the boonies to avoid door dings... :like:

Thanks for the thoughts, luckily they will be - it's an education/career/love life move to the land down under 🦘 The time difference will be brutal though!
my son went to South Korea for the air force. The time differences was very hard to keep in contact.

My Wife used to "roll" her eyes whenver I would park away from other cars until her Pathfinder got peppered 3 times within a couple of weeks. Our daughter purchased our old 2011 Toyota Sienna van and I swear every time she comes over there is another war wound from the grocery store parking lot. No note, nothing.. what is wrong with people these days?

Your words are true, it’s hard to keep anything nice these days without some Bozo beating up your property.
Respect for people and their property is definitely fleeting.
Quick recent experience regarding this is when my brother and my nephew were at an indoor range and my nephew was shooting one of my firearms.
It got away from him and he destroyed a couple of lamps, I went over and let them know and the fella behind the counter said thanks for letting him know that as no one admits to anything anymore.
BTW, your Bad Ass Bronco doesn’t have any doors in the picture so how can it have any door dings. (Jokes)

Wow Lorne,
A Performance Blue GT350 and a 2-door Bronco…. I like your choice in vehicle selection my friend!
