Spent a couple of days at Dominion Raceway with the local chapter of the SCCA. Temps were pretty low in the morning ~38 F and the SC2s took a while to warm up. Still fun though.

One guy brought his Porsche GT3 Cup car. I asked to see inside and he obliged. I damn near tore the door off its hinges when I went to open it because I wasn't expecting it to be carbon fiber and weigh about 2 grams :giggle:. The damn thing was so light it was just confusing to my brain.

You must be exhausted.
Well considering the streets have recently been sanded/salted with more snow coming, I'd say it's the best I can do for now...

Changed the oil, and used @pilotgore prints which I gotta say made the job Soo much better. Didn't spill a drop. Just gotta clean out the the catch cans, and maint is done for a while.

Thought about getting her washed up too, but the pollen is still cooking so didn't really see the point. Hopefully in the next few weeks it'll be over with and I can get her cleaned up nice.

She's dusty

Lol I'm still kinda surprised at myself I had the balls to do it myself. Scary thing to do if you've never done it before. I stared at the part for a good few weeks before I said f it, and went at it.

It's not bad, and aluminum cuts like butter so it's over pretty quick.

Yup, I'm understanding what you're saying. Like when I was 18 and my buddies said that I didn't have the "Stones" to chop the top on my 34 Ford 2 door sedan, I just did it.

Yes, took 4 inches out of it. Gas welded it back on, ran out of "Steel" rods over the weekend so I stole a few of my moms "Steel" coat hangars and used them. They had heavier gauge steel back then.
