Alright Ray, I have a solution to your wife not liking the cool snake eyes... you need to find a "middle ground".
Hear me out now, this idea will allow you to keep the awesome snake eyes and will allow your wife to embrace the look with a vision that will appeal to her gentle feminine side.
I would suggest dark sunglasses when driving, even when it's not sunny.
May want to NEVER back it into your garage again.

Nice George. I am considering the smoke CS21s. I need to get ambitious to replace the wheels, tires and brake pads for a little more street civility. I actually have grown to like the black gloss OEM wheels. But I have learned to HATE cleaning them.
Mike,
Thanks
Cleaning the wheels was a daily job. I put the Z26 ceramic pads on and the brake dust is almost nothing at all. So much better. I am very pleased with the new wheels and the PSS tires on the street.

Got the new tires and wheels mounted and balanced today. Went with the Michelin PSS and the Shelby CS21 wheels. Now to get some miles on them.

@sox3 George, I am curious if you purchased the lug nuts with the wheels, or which lug nuts did you choose to use? Also, did you transfer the TPMS from the OEM wheels?

Finally installed oil separator and "Airaid" cold air kit. Found while installing this that the rubber boot that connects from the original
air box to the hole in the front end (behind the grill) was stuffed inside the opening and blocked off the bottom of the opening.
My car never really had that "Get with the Program" killer sound that other members talked about when the right foot mashed the
"Let it Eat" pedal. It makes some noise now.....Might be worth a look on yours, just saying. :muscle:

Mike, I went with the Gorilla lug nuts, 4 new Ford TPMS units. That way it's easy to swap back to stock setup. TPMS program tool was about $14 bucks online.

Installed Euro tail lights and carbon fiber stripes on the avalanche grey. Oh, and I put on side stripes after seeing them on the new GT500. The wife said I went a little crazy on the side stripes , but I can always remove them . Next is painting the calipers red and maybe red pinstripes and ford performance springs because the car is too low, but the carbon fiber stripes really look good without pinstripes .

Put on my painted redline hood struts. It took about 8 weeks to get them.
