Took her to my friends at Limitless Motorworks Miami, they will do the resonator delete, add the adjustable plates to the rear adjustable Steeda camber arms for greater adjustment capabilities and then they will take her to Apex Alignment Miami for custom alignment. Then after that they will install the Diode Dynamic front side marker lights I didn’t have time to install, I did the switchback signal lights before they had the marker lights, aslso I remember what my arms looked like after that install and didn’t want to donate more skin to the project.
Now back to work, playtime over.

Recent rain cleared the streets well and it got near 50F today in my parts. Took both sports cars out for a well deserved ride. With a 1000+ lb advantage and a 325HP deficit, that P car still gets around nicely - doesn't scare bystanders, like the 350, though...

Installed Steeda jacking rails. Surprised the supplied hardware bolts were so short when compared to the same factory bolts (like half the depth). Torqued down to 45lb-ft, because I believe that's right.

The tires are bagged and stacked two high on a workbench in my climate controlled shop. Amazing how much space 4 tires can take up.

My GT350 has about 1,400 miles on it so the new tires will likely go on the car sometime in the summer after a few track days.

Just curious why the plastic bags? Mine are in my basement stacked identically on a workbench (cept the bags). Will be putting mine on sometime this Summer I guess....current ones are at 5500mi and starting to slip more often but still have some tread left.

It is part of weight savings & we found you can either re-use the hardware or use our hardware.

Best Regards,

The plastic bags slow the aging of the tires by keeping oxygen and pollutants out and keep the new tire smell out of the shop.

Place each clean and dry tire in its own large, opaque, airtight plastic bag (such as lawn and garden bags) for storing. Avoid allowing any moisture to remain and remove as much air as practical (some drivers even use a vacuum cleaner to draw out as much as possible). Close the bag tightly and tape it shut.

I have clear bags that I obtained from a tire store. They will never be in direct sunlight.

On Friday I took the GT350 out to lunch and met up with Stanglife and Tomster (who was passing through town). I think we could have talked about cars all afternoon... nothing like having lunch with a two other GT350/R owners and talking cars! It was a great time.

I managed to find a parking spot up front.. and we sat on the patio and I carefully/nervously observed people pulling next to my car and/or walking by it. :)

Hit fifty today and we had some good rain recently that left the roads fairly clean. Took it for a spin.

Nice. The ice we got last week in my area the night after the rain means piles of salt still. So no drive for me. :(

There is a pile of salt at the very entrance of my neighborhood....mine still has a good month and a half to two months of sitting to do.
