Might want to give this long thread a read if you haven't seen it. Lots of guys say the "BG" makes a huge difference in the manual transmission. Sounds like some guys are running the BG in their GT350s.

Thanks for the links! I used BG in my MT82 when I was trying to find the "perfect" fluid for it. It was good, but the OEM DCT fluid was better, at least in that gearbox.

I'll poke around and see if I can find it - last time it was a VW dealer that stocked it. Expensive too.

I like to disassemble things.
Those are pretty neat. Amazing what a laser can do when you have a good idea.

I washed and waxed my car last week with input from my four legged friends. Captured some of it on my Samsung S8+ and then added mod photos from when I first got the car up until now. I then edited everything in Movie Maker, which I had never used before. I have to move on to whatever follows the GT350 and am just putting everything together in advance of negotiating, and letting go. Go full screen, turn it up, and tell me what you think.

I've been running the Motul DCTF through all sorts of temperature ranges (though maybe only once up to 130F) and it's been good so far. Occasionally feels really lumpy on the first 1-2 shift of the morning and sometimes I have to pull it into gear harder. When I'm driving hard the problems go away. Hopefully tomorrow I can go out and flog it a bit and try to get the temperatures up and see how it feels.

I did try the BG Synchro Shift 2 and it behaved pretty well, but not as well as the DCTF IMO

Sadly, today I did my final wash before it goes into hibernation. I did get to give both my sister and brother-in-law (separately) their first rides in the R. Watching my sister jump a mile when I fired it up in the garage (cold start) was priceless. BIL got a good laugh out of it, too.

That reminds me, I washed my car on Friday and took it to the first Cars & Coffee I've ever been to today. I got shown up by a new Ford GT :p

Dig the ending comment.

Sloppily added duct tape (Red 3M from Lowes) to my hood as a buffer to stop paint wear caused by the air intake seals. Waxed the hood in the area prior to installation.

Added some Detroit iron to the open space in the garage. Winter storage for an early '70's Vette owned by a family friend (passed away a few years ago) inherited by his college aged son, whom I finally met.

Pretty cool of you to take care of that car for him.
