Something does not sound right. The Steeda McQeen Bullitt has magneride and 315/30/20 rear tyres with no issues.
I agree with you . I've checked everything I can think of but the fact is Michelin 295/35/20 tyres will not fit under my bodywork. The Continental 295's were a very tight fit but they are terrible tyres on the rear of my Mustang . I could break traction and fish-tail in a straight line with moderate application of throttle.
Love the Michelins but can only fit 285's

Offset for the Velgens is correct on paper. I have thought of getting the back of the hub machined to set the wheel further in but would need someone who could convince me that it would work.

Mine are 305s on 11" rims at the rear, not much clearance inboard and flush outboard. Not sure what the clearance would be like with MR. How much room do you have inboard, tyre to damper is probably the limiting factor?

IMHO machining hubs or wheels to make them fit is a last resort.

I had 295 Michelins fitted to the rims and the tread was outside the bodywork.
I don't think machining will happen. I have just fitted new 285 Michelins so won't be doing anything for a couple of years.

The lure of the Camry Sport is hard to resist...

That's actually brilliant. I think the vanilla Camrys are hideous, but they added a bunch of additional but slightly less hideous bits that dilute the base hideous. Yes, the Sport looks bad but put it next to a regular Camry and you think the added bits are bad but don't notice the base hideousness anywhere near as much.

Urban sculpture!

What size are they AJ? They look huge.
P51 101RF (with Ford OEM centres. (They fit well) P51 centres are awful)

I have 275/35 20 on 9" rims up front and 295/35 20 on 10.5" rims out back. No poke! No rubbing even lowered on coil overs.
