Yeah it did. I just made sure I prepared the area well and pushed it as far against the transmission tunnel as possible. It definitely isn't an exact fit, there is a slight hangover/ edge brake side and the slots cut in are slightly longer than the plastic, but it still looks OK, and you forget it's there instantly. I've added a close up picture.

Hey there.
I just finished adding the premium pedals to my base GT, didn't know I needed em till my woman got her premium GT....... 🤷🏼‍♂️😁
Anyway now the dead pedal is glaringly ugly by comparison.
Looking at the cover you bought.
Wondering if it's still where you stuck it, now a couplea months later? Hope so!
It really is a night and day better look down there.
Thanks in advance. 👍

Make sure you go the brushed option as it matches the pedals better. I made the mistake of getting the polished one first and I didn't like it so much and then order again ( I now have an unused polished one 🤣🤣🤣)

Today I fitted the Black Gorilla Wheel Nuts. I think they look much better on the black wheel than the chrome OEM nuts. They also remove the potential for rusting and expanding that the OEM units have.

i finished fitting my Cervini bonnet today waiting r a radiator o/flow bottle cover now as it was visible thru scoop so blk may tone it down im also going to fit some mesh across the openings

this is the reason im selling my original bonnet and the ford performance struts Cervini say not to use any other struts with their bonnet ??? different weight or salesmanship who knows

also fitted the trim around doors/console etc

fitting mesh to scoop painted screen washer top blk and fitted o/flow bottle cover
the reason being they stuck out like the proverbial thru the scoop not a good look

Like the '62 Valient. Wonder how different from US versions (other than steering wheel on the wrong side and hood pins). I'm guessing the hood pins hint at 225 slant 6 replaced.

Only pic I have of my mother's '62:

nice pic of family
our steering is on the RIGHT side lol lol this car is a clone of one i circuit raced in 1962 in that one i ran 6 x Amal carbs on homemade manifold i made later i ran tripple webers ,45dcoe
our cars ran only 225/s while you got 3 sizes 170/198/225
ours came with 14" wheels i think yours only came with 13.s
my cousin in states got me 2 of the aluminum 225 blocks a couple of yrs ago
thanks for the interest Randy cheers Dave

by the way people either love the old valiant or hate it lol
