Two weeks of ownership Bob and you're still wearing a wedding ring.

A promising start!

The cost of removing one of those rings is prohibitive.....may as well do what is needed to keep it there....:D

You getting nervous about your pending car ownership yet?

The only thing I'm getting nervous about is co-ordinating my delivery date with my booking at the detailer. Time is becoming scarce and work is also getting in the way, although I'm sure it will work out in the end.

Also haven't driven a manual in thirteen years, so the exit from the dealership could be interesting.

Decided to check the contents of the UPR oil separator today. The car has travelled a whole 310kms.
It contained between a teaspoon and a tablespoon of oil. If I didn't have the separator, that oil would be coating the inside of the intake manifold and coking up the valves.
Probably the wisest mod I have done.
Why these are not standard issue, beats the hell out of me.

Same reason why we get those shitty bulbs.

On Saturday I rented out a manual from Hertz so I can teach the misses.

I'll book it again before we get the Mustang. I told her she has to do an advanced driving course before she touches the pony :p

I gave mine a wash and detail, it is so easy to maintain with the Ceramic Pro applied, pictures to come.

9.8L /100km

Wow, I am on 15.4L /100km but then again I do a lot of city driving

I mostly do highway km's, though when driving around the city and taking it easy I'm averaging about 12/100... open the taps and she starts drinking though haha:cheers:

8.8L/100km when I had a nice lone stretch of highway and cruise set to 115km/h

Has anyone on here installed aftermarket shift knobs (particularly gt350 one) and/or shifters (e.g. Steeda)?

Any thoughts / recommendations?

In case of a shifter, did you install it yourself (easy? Hard?) or did you get that installed in a shop and how much did it cost you?

I have installed an aftermarket shift knob just for looks. It was created by Anarchy Motive really impressed with his craftsmanship, it looks great.

I have the MGW shifter at home and that will be installed within the next few weeks. I don't plan on tackling the install myself I am going to take it to Mustang Motorsport as I would hate to break an interior clip.

Unfortunately my DSLR has stopped working, so here are a couple of shots from my phone and GoPro, sorry for the quality.

And before anyone says it, yes I do need to repaint my garage floor! :ninja:
