I am planning to get the same project6gr wheels. What tyres are you using?

Not my car but I am on Nitto Invo. 275/35/20 front on 9.5 inch wheels with 295/35/29 rear 11 inch wheels. Photo was to show another member what the wheels he ordered will look like on his black Stang. My car below.

Yeah that was for me, cheers Bulutt. I haven't put the wheels on yet but will be going Michelin pilot S4 275x35x20 front and 295x35x20 rear. The rims are 20x10 and 20x11. You can go wider but I don't want to. Will probably put them on next month

That's the setup on my car, but on Koya semi forged rims. Handles nicely, the harder you push it the better it turns.

Today I ran the window washer reservoir dry in the Bullitt
Given the amount of electronic wizardry in these things producing all sorts of warnings (both useful & Useless)I am surprised there isn't a warning mechanism for this fluid level?

Looks great. I didnt have mine lowered because I was worried about knocking the front end reversing out of our steep(ish) driveway. Does yours get knocked?

So the car is lowered 38mm and that seems to be the 'safe' distance to lower the car. At that ride height you get some noticeable handling (favourable) changes and I am yet to knock anything. The one thing I am very wary of is driving 'front in' to a tall concrete curb. But my drive way is pretty neutral.

The other thing to note is that at the point you lower the car you will need to consider some other suspension changes to reduce the potential for increased inner tire wearing with unforeseen changes in camber. So in my case I had a bump steer kit fitted to the front - the rear doesn't need anything as such (at that height because there is sufficient play in the rear end to adjust camber.) The spin off again is still further incrementally improved handling with the car 'pointing' more directly.

But again with a change of springs (H and M I think) or a coil over (nothing crazy $$$) the standard height still rides very (very) nicely. And the rims just make it beautiful :)

Interesting thing about bead porn, it looks lovely but I've seen articles suggesting that in rain it's better to have water sheet off the car rather then bead. The idea behind this is that dirt is held in the bead, and when it dries the dirt residue is left on the car not to mention water spots although IIRC the trick is to use a chemical that promotes bead rolling so it runs off easily. That said, I've never seen a chemical that gets water sheeting off the car.

I defer to those with greater knowledge than I.

What! Rain? I don't drive the Mustang in the rain!

You are right though, water beading can be beautiful and a curse at the same time.
