The quality of the wheel is great (the installer was also very positive). Took about 4 weeks from order, which these days was a little better than expected. It took Ray (EPM) & I about a week to 10 days to finalise the spec of the wheel and the details I wanted.
Thank you.

Finnaly pulled the trigger on some car bling in the shape of some new wheels. Should be arriving July sometime. Can't wait as I've been looking for new mags solidly for a few year and finally decided on these. Project 6GR wheels 7 spoke, Staggered Full Set

So more wheel related stuff, I had one of these delivered today.

I will be ceramic coating these wheels once the tires are fitted so this will be worthy addition to my tool chest. The three rollers allow the wheel and tire to spin in an ergonomic way, making coating and tire prep much easier.

Looks like @snake bite might be needing one of these too!
Ha ha ha just when I thought you had exhausted cleaning products, up pops this. Classic @DFB5.0 you win the extreme cleaning award.

Someone asked me the other day what I'm going to do when I run out of detailing stuff to buy?

Answer - there is always more to buy, the rabbit hole is deep and gets deeper by the day. 🤪

@snake bite those wheels will look sensational on your car. Gloss black wheels on a gloss black Mustang ohhhh yes. And easy to clean.

This is a perfect segue (not really) into my detailing question for today:

I'm using Bowden's Fabracadabra for spot cleaning carpet but what are y'all using to clean carpets more generally eg shampoo? No horrible perfume scent is 'escential'.

For carpet or textiles, I use Koch Chemie Pol Star. Not that I need to use this on my Mustang, rather a few cars I detail on the side. Pol Star can also be used to clean leather. This product can be diluted up or down to suit the cleaning powered required.

I have been using a lot of Koch Chemie products lately. Green Star APC is exceptional and their bug remover is one of the best available.

Along with them being really good products, and most importantly, they look real nice in my cabinet. :giggle:

Their website says the Chemie Pol Star has 'foam lamellas', something I've always wanted in my carpets . They do look good, but honestly the best thing in your cabinet is the Meercat colony of spray bottles. Shelf 3 is the party shelf...all the others are, in comparison...a little boring conservative :giggle:.

Why do you not use this fine product on your Mustang? Is it because you hoover up dust particles from the air before they can fall on the pile? Or simply because the carpets never get dirty enough to need actual chemical cleaning?

The APC and Bug remover sound interesting, do you know what ingredient makes the bug remover so good? I'm always wary of good bug removers because I wonder what's in them but clearly this one is ok or you wouldn't be using it. For example WD40 works a treat but it will play havoc with my PPF and possibly ceramic coat. Ditto, fire.
