The diff is the easiest out of the two to change.Hi s550mustang Was it easy to change the diff oil and what oil did you use
Yep.Yeah exciting times especially in a world of instant gratification. Reminded me of when I was young and you had to wait for the special things
I'll be very interested in what you think after these changes. I had this done (not the tension links 'tho - just control arms with extended ball joints and bump steer) about two weeks ago and the car feels 200kg lighter.Steeda 2015-20 Bumpsteer Kit, Steeda 2015-20 Front Control Arms Lateral Links w/ Extended Ball Joint, Steeda 2015-19 Tension Links with Bearings being installed together with wheel alignment....
....and I am ashamed to say a rim repair for the left front ...... car will be back on the road on from Jax Mitchell on Wednesday for Carbon autohaus to work their magic on Thursday and Friday for the rest of the gear....
That is some nice looking engineering Paul. Was the alignment straight forward (no pun intended)Suspension bits from Steeda installed as you can see. Done by Jax in Mitchell here in Canberra. Solid incremental change noticed in the handful of corners between Mitchell and home.
The alignment was very straightforward - took all of 10 - 15 minute. I think the bump steer kit made life a bit easier for them (certainly there looked to be plenty of adjustment available). The Steeda advice on wheel alignment post fit is right - the alignment just on fitment was awful. Post alignment the car tracks really well and points really well (incremental improvement over stock). Again I was left feeling that this was how the car should have come. That is some nice looking engineering Paul. Was the alignment straight forward (no pun intended)
Nice!Put a new steering wheel on. It ties in with my stripes and gear shifter ball. Bit of a mission to install but I am very happy with its quality.
No, I lost heating with the exchange. I still have not heard any makers offering retention of the feature. As you say it is not really needed in Australia. I tried it a couple of times in our "winter" and it was a bit weird feeling.Nice!
Although I can't imagine aussies needing it but is it heated as well?
Hi Peter. I Really like what you have done with your car. Your stripes really pop and I think your wheel looks stunning especially with the white shifter. Maybe the best I have seen on any Mustang. Did you get it from Ray? What is the Velcro on the dash? CheersPut a new steering wheel on. It ties in with my stripes and gear shifter ball. Thanks. I got the wheel from Eximius in Melbourne. Bianca the propierter proved to be very willing to work with me on getting it the way I wanted. The Velcro is my mount for the throttle controller that I tried out. I didn't want anything permanent so that it could be tucked away when at the dealers. The controller turned out to be a bit on the radical side for drivebility so it might come off. The jury is still out on this decision.Hi Peter. I Really like what you have done with your car.
