Mike: I can't drink any soda or "pop" any longer, too sweet but roger on Hotlanta and COAKE. :-)

Love the machines. My grandfather and great uncle had a soda pop company when I was a kid and we used to deliver those old machines all the time along with ice coolers. Good memories, thanks.
I can sit in the garage with all those old memories and enjoy the GT500 even more. Glad you liked them. Years ago I would have a 60’s car in there but ever since Mr Shelby came back to Ford I’ve been buying these new gems. Those 3 are the real deal back in the late 90’s.

Man, did I EVER smile when that image came into view, John. It's almost like "Delivery Day Christmas" all over again, each time someone's brand new beauty comes home.

But, I couldn't resist the temptation. :-)

Haha, thanks KB! I can’t wait to get professional photos after she’s cleaned up with a lot better background. But my old iPhone X camera did a pretty nice job all thanks considered.

Every time I look in my garage, I feel like it’s Christmas morning.

<smiling> Copy the upcoming photography, John and I know that I and a whole bunch of folks before and after my Delivery Day, know precisely what you mean. It still happens to me six months later, too.

One more thing KB, the saturation level in my original photo better represents Ford Performance blue in person. Your touched up photo looks closer to velocity blue.

You gave me a grin with that one, John as I truly appreciate a good eye for color.

And, you are quite correct, I kinda rushed that one, no offense (I had to feed my dogs. :-) In my rush to improve the original, I definitely oversaturated but I THINK (according to the numbers anyway,) that this one is more representative although not a perfect tweak. I did double checked the images of Jaime's and a couple others that I have but PB in sunlight is a tough one.

Your color combo was in fact my first choice but like so many other folks, I switched. Still, PB with OW stripes is just so classic and timeless.

@kilobravo being a life long third generation dry cleaner, color and attention to detail is an occupational hazard. Your second edit looks darn near perfect to my eye.

Picking a color on this car was so hard. RR w/ White, white w/ blue and iconic w/ blue were my other choices. But, after seeing FPB in person. I know I made the right choice.

You really can’t go wrong no matter your color choice.

John: It makes perfect sense that your vocation would require those traits and glad I got that darn blue closer to the Real McCoy. :-)

But I'm quite sure that you and I are not alone in the "color choices" department, that was tough, and the reason it was difficult is exactly as you said. Any color choice looks great on this girl.

Ha! Then why did Ford choose Rapid Red (and a CFTP to boot)?.....

Everyone knows that rapid red is the best color..... Even Ford does, that is why it is the poster child for the manual and Ford Performance photo shoot.

They use FPB in a lot of marketing materials too. Heck, their name is in the color.

Tough call on which is better. I may be biased, but I love FPB just a little more.

Silly man, everybody knows Ford Performance Blue is the fastest, and flagship color of Ford Performance. They even address is as "Ford Performance Blue". :sunglasses:
