This is the GT500 section. 5W30 is not applicable and neither are your results.
I used 5w30 amsoil signature series in the NA tests and 5w50 amsoil signature series in the latest test. My car is supercharged, faster than stock GT500s, I run it hard, and my results are real. Projectfarms results are also real.

Its obvious that you don't care about a warranty.

Stay tuned to farmer Joe's oil analysis channel for the industry leading oil tests. Oh and be sure to catch is video comparing Chinese vs American Cresent wrenches.

If your dealer is going to try to void your warranty for using amsoil, you need to find a new dealer.

Thats one of my talents actually. Although I have a lot of chemistry under my belt, I put the food on the table by flying jet aircraft. What do you do for a living?

There is nothing wrong with amsoil. But not everyone has a Frankenstein like you. Your warranty is long gone. Most of us still have it. Using 5W30 will void that warranty. The data and info you bring to the table is not applicable.

My data is from both 5w30 and 5w50 amsoil and its practically identical. Look at the oil viscosity difference in the results I provided. The 5w50 results were after I added 300 HP to my car too and ran it hard for 2k miles.

I'm on the "Wild" side, first oil change in my GT 350 was at 600 miles. 10 quarts of "Driven FR50"(5W-50) and never looked back. 9600 miles and 4 track days. I have changed oil
5 times total....
Driven makes decent oil. I knew one of the guys involved in its development and testing over in the Porsche world. The 20w50 is recommended for the older air cooled motors. Thought all their oils were for older motors with high zinc, etc. I have 2 cases left of the Brad Penn and 1 of the VR1 before I need to buy any, but some day I won't be deployed all the time and can drive my car..... lol. I also use it in my old motorcycles.

I think the reality that those with superchargers run 5W50 and no other engine work speaks to the reality that you could run 5w50 in a NA car safely.

I guess my point was that a minivan and a GT500 don't belong in the same sentence. A minivan doesn't go all out on the track, but instead drives like a grandma to and from the supermarket.
Dude, the point was that oil change frequency was key to engine longevity, if you cant handle a minivan and gt500 in the same sentence or thread, you really need to evaluate your manhood and security, or get over yourself or car.
