To everyone who ordered/will soon be ordering the S650, what are you upgrading from? An S550? A Camaro? An old Honda Civic? Is it just holding you over until you get something better? I’m curious where everyone is coming from.

As for me, I’m upgrading from a 2010 Lexus IS250. It’s also a holdover until I can finish restoring my 1965 Mustang.

Nothing. This is an add to my garage and will be a weekend warrior to enjoy on the mountain back roads where I live. I also own 65 F100 (a show princess, but still driven a few times a month). My daily is a 2010 F-150, 4.6L 3v with 179k on the clock and counting. Love my Fords! My problem is that they're so reliable I can't find a good reason to let one go or "replace" it. I just drive until the wheels fall off (hasn't happened yet).

An S550.

2020 Mustang Ecoboost premium with the HPP.
To the 2024 Mustang GT premium with the PP.

If this is the last generation mustang, then it's only right that I go out with a V8.

2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 6 speed manual. That car has an open recall on the clutch friction plate that it seems FCA is never going to fix. Sold it as soon as I realized it because I don’t want a car that has a higher than normal chance to spontaneously combust.

I rented a 2015 2D Jeep Wrangler in a 6 speed, and i gotta say I hated it. I WAY prefer the Bronco. Less road noise, smoother ride, nicer interior, lighter clutch, the works.

That 4.6 especially won’t ever leave you stranded. Probably will live till 1 million miles if you drove it enough
