All the options, less Handling package due to tire production I was told, but I have all the bits to added to complete it now.. Just waiting for the weather to warm up

Only 6,313 Mach 1's... Hmmm... how many GT350's were made???
There are more GT350's than Mach 1's, making the Mach 1 rare in exception to the GT350R which is incredibly rare. I don't have the production numbers for the 2020 year, but someone mentioned that according to his resources, a total of 23,574 GT350's were built. 20,063 were base GT350's, and 3,511 were GT350R's. That's a lot of Shelby's, but it's to be expected since they had a 6 year production run. For 2021, the Mach 1 doesn't seem like it exceeded 6,313 cars, and the 2022 year seems like it's going to be even less. With the material shortages, and all that it will definitely be a shorter run. My question is how many handling pack cars did Ford make?

For anyone interested in the 2015 - 2019 GT350 production numbers,

The referenced poll gives a bit of insight as to how several members optioned their '22.

IMO, options are certainly one factor, maintaining originality another, over the long term.

Hemmings is a great site to study different models, options, ages and conditions. It can often be very difficult to find a decades-old car which continues to be original (no color changes, same engine, original interior, wheels, etc.). Seemingly meaningless bits can become quite valuable, difficult to find or both.

I can’t wait to see the official breakdown from Ford. Any guesses as to when we’ll see it?

meh. it is still a coyote car with nothing unique to its badge. production numbers being lower than the 350 dont make the M1 a more sought after Mustang.

When did I ever say or even imply that the Mach 1 was more sought after than a GT350? All I did was state that in comparison to the GT350, the Mach 1 seems to be pretty rare and nothing else.

10-4, but who talks about a car being rare just for the sake of pointing out it is rare?

Said every GT350 owner...lol
Alex, what are things 5.0 owners say!

C’mon. It’s an Internet forum. You should expect them to say ANYTHING. :cwl: I think the most entertaining is the GT500 sub forum.

At this point you're just jumping to conclusions. Anyone can talk about rarity to point out exclusivity and low production numbers. Just because something is rare, it doesn't mean that it has to be sought after. A perfect example of this would be the 50 year anniversary mustangs. I think they only made 1900 or so (even less than the GT350R), yet people rarely talk about it. I'm pretty sure if given the option, most would go for a GT350R anyways.

Like people calling others stupid, and arguing for paying ADM? Yeah, some crazy shit out there in the GT500 sub forum.

Alex, what are things 5.0 owners say!
They say a lot of things...like wish I had a GT350, GT350 sounds awesome, GT350 is a special car...etc etc....
Me personally... I say all of that except "Wish I had a GT350. I could have bought one but it wasn't the right move for me. Was never gonna track the car and in my opinion the car is wasted as an every day street car. You can't really open it up and have fun with it on the streets. All of its power is up in the 6000 RPM and above range and by the time you get it there you're in jail. The Mach 1 is a better street car...and special in its own right. In the end I love both of them but I went with the one that made the most sense for me.
