I am very curious to who here is seeing 17mpg average since this is the curse number for a car. 18MPG and no gas guzzler tax and mine so far is a solid 21-22 mpg with varied driving. Post a vote and I think we all should petition Ford to refund all Bullitt owners the Gas Guzzler Tax.

I didn't pay a gas guzzler tax on my 2018 PP2.
Doesn't make sense why Bullit cars would have a gas guzzler tax, unless regulations changed between 2018 to 2019.
I typically get 18-23 mpg (18 local around town driving, 23 on a road trip)

I don't recall seeing a Gas Guzzler on the Bullitt when I purchased. There was one on the GT350 that I was considering for sure... I'll have to go doublecheck...

Correct on the gas guzzler tax on the GT350.
A buddy of mine bought the GT350 same time I bought the PP2. He paid the gas guzzler tax. IIRC the tax was $1300.

The 2020 is the first year of the gas guzzler tax it was downgraded to 17mpg combined from 18MPG combined. Did Ford cave to the EPA? Tesla needs money so I guess I just contributed.

Depending on how I feel like driving on my 120 mile round trip commute I can get anywhere from 18-29 mpg. I’m amazed at the gas mileage this v8 is capable of achieving. I would always have around 300 miles till empty at a full tank going 80 mph but recently I started going the posted speed limit 55-65 here in California and the distance till empty went to 360 miles. Gas guzzler tax is not needed. I have a 2019 Bullitt. I probably have the most mileage on a S550 bullitt...almost 30k, but I didn’t get it to be a garage queen.

I'm averaging 20 right now 25/75% city/hwy, BUT I got my ride when the shelter-in-place started in ATL. When things get back to normal traffic around here, I expect a dip to about 15-17 mpg.

IF you could drive your 5.0 at 55mph in 6th gear on a road trip, I'm sure you could get 30 mpg out of it.
But anyone that would do that should be pulled from the car and beat up for Mustang abuse.

I had to start driving that slow as I’ve been pulled over 5 times in a year by the California highway patrol. The most recent pullover was by a captain of the chp and I was informed if I’m pulled over again I’ll be arrested.

That's brutal....
You'd better keep it slow for awhile...

I think that there is more to this tax that what "our" car does. Over the last 2 years ford got called out on ecoboost mileage for the ranger, and they also gave up on many of their car lines. This means there are more low gas milage cars pulling their average. Thus, those of you who purchased the 2020 version are getting hit with THE TAX. I did not pay guzzler tax on my 2019 bullitt and (for the most part) it is the same as the 2020.

All of that being said, I am all for reaching out if when you see something wrong (see some of my earlier post). If you need data, I am more than happy to add to the pile.

70 is about the minimum for 6th. I have gotten 25 at 75 plus all freeway. 18 on hwy 36 in 3 rd and 4th gear

That's what I've noticed with mine. Best I've gotten was 23 mpg, but on a 2 lane road trip. not consistent freeway cruising.
I'm amazed at the mileage we can pull out of these cars if we keep our right foot light.
