So I finally went to the track, I had issues with line lock, it didn't engage in the waterbox , so I had to give it clutch to get the wheels wet , but that way fender walls got wet as well, and if I didnt only one wheel was spinning on the burnout forcing me to go back in the water. Has anyone have this issue?

Second , I lined up, had wheel spin in first so I got a best Et 11.5 @ 128mph, 1.71 60' , which was pretty consistent with traction control off, but tryin to launch with Launch control, got me a 12.07 Et 2.03 60'

I have a 3.5" pulley, Im at 5500' on stock exhaust, 92 octane/w octane booster(vp madditive), Im using Hoosier 28x10x17 slicks at 12psi on racestar wheels, fronts are rtr 9.5"wheels on 245 tires @ 32psi, Im on stock suspension, I have dss800 , roush axlebacks, Mcleod rxt clutch and was launching at 4500/5200rpm and shifting close to 7700rpm

I want to see 10s yet and would like to hear your opinions on what I need to get there and what you think on the results considering the da

First off dont use launch control, even with trac and advance trac off launch control still uses some trac/stabilty control.Try practising using your line lock before u go to the track,u have to do the steps perfect or it wont work, main thing is when u press the break pedal to engauge it dont let of the brake pedal until the clock starts ticking.128mph is good for a 10sec run,but u have to get a better 60ft.

I did practice the line lock, but the track has a bit of an angle on the entry to the water box and straights out on the burnout area and It seems like it detects it and doesn't want to engage it, what 60' should I see with good traction and to get those 10s?

I've been having the same problem at the tracks I went to. Line lock wouldn't work in the box but outside of that it works just fine. I've had no problem engaging line lock elsewhere.

It depends on track prep, but with full slicks i.would think u should be able to get 1.5 or 1.6 60ft,i am on nitto nto5r's with stock pp wheels and i get 1.6 regular and every now and again a1.5.My best was a 1.54 with a 6m.Another thing u can try with the line lock is try setting it before u get to the box then enable it when you are ready to do your burnout.I do this sometimes when the track is not level.

Sometimes when you cant drive in straight to the water box line lock wont work.
With the tires around 14 PSI and 5500 launch you should cut a low 1.5.

1. Completely turn of advancetrac
2. Put car in 2nd and dump it at 5-6k and then just lightly hold the brake until the tires smoke pretty good.
3.Leave closer to 5700-6000 and you should hit the number.

The option and everything is there, I have to hold in brakes and when I press ok , It says to consult the manual. Im gona go back and do some more practice after getting a 2step so i can concentrate on everything else rather than trying to hold the rpm. And your 1.54 sounds fantastic
