No airbag deployment.
Sorry, I caught that right after posting in your original post. Airbag would be insta total but it still looks like it's over the line. I agree with the posters suggesting it's time to get a GT. It's definitely toast if the frame rail is bent.

I mean, the headlights and tail lights are intact. Should be good to go!
Seriously though, glad you are okay. My 22 GT will get sideways on these stock tires if I put it in track mode and all I have done is put in an aftermarket intake and resonator delete. I need some wider wheels and meatier tires stat.

That is over 10k in damages for JUST the door impact since you bent the frame there. add another 5 for the hood bumper fender... buy back and make track beast.

I’m not so sure the frame is bent there. I can’t afford to buy it back. Plus, I think I found a race red GT 401A that I’m in love with. We’ll see what happens.

I am thinking goner , as the eb after you drive off the lot value vs the damage , is a 10-15% spread. It end up as a repairable. Looks to me a 3/4 nose a door and fix rocker and 1/4.
Easy fix. But today no one wants a hit or totaled car other than body shop guys .
Problem is today parts even used parts are stupidly priced.

Glad you and the person you hit are ok and the only hit will be to your wallet and drivers points.

The car is easily fixable.
All the rest depends on the totalling thing I'll never understand.

Did you have blind spot monitoring or the mirrors with the little corner mirrors.

Personally I love the mirrors with the little corner mirros, makes it so I have no blind spot at all and can practically see a car next to me in my mirror. In my opinion better than any mirrors or blind spot monitoring system I have seen. Just curious :)

If it was a GT it might clear the threshold, but it's not, so it won't unfortunately. Glad you're okay! Hopefully you can get a replacement that makes you even happier.

I'm thinking around $15-17K to repair so I'm saying not a total loss.

Sorry about your car. I was in a similar situation last February. Good to see you can make a little fun of it and you're ok. :like:
