We ordered a 2019 GT PP1, ruby red, manual trans back in May 2019. It showed estimated delivery dates of 7/15, sometime later in July, then August and then September 21. It went to production on 6/20 but could never get pasted awaiting shipment. It been stuck in re-released for a while now too.

I stopped by the dealer last week and told him were we going to walk away from the order since for some reason they couldn't get (or Ford wouldn't send it) our car.

They did digging (as did I) and found a car with almost the same specs close by (200 miles). The only difference was it didn't have the over the top stripe and did have Smart/Safe and Magneride. I looked for any 2020's that had what we wanted (not many within 500 miles) and non were what we wanted.

I guess our dealer wanted the sale since they took one of their vehicles up to the other dealer and drove the car down to their lot. We looked at it, tried it out (now had 218 miles on it) and took it home on Friday evening. We got 0% interest which did knock the total price down about 5k from what we were expecting the overall cost to be. I'm surprised they actually brought the car down since we were using X-plan.

We now have just over 500 miles on the car and love almost everything about it (even the magneride). The only things we regret is the B&O stereo. The Shaker 1000 in our 2006 sounds so much better to our ears (especially the bass). We probably should have got the lower end Sync 3 system and just paid to have the system upgraded later.

I'm no auto-audiophile but I suspect if you take it to a specialist they can easily find speakers of the correct dimensions with much better quality drivers. Some material behind the speaker and/or fixing the resonator box may solve your problems handily.

Have you turned on the surround sound option? It makes a big difference.

I was actually so upset with my B&O when I first heard it that I thought there was something wrong with it. With the surround option and much fiddling with the EQ, it sounds a lot better. Still not as good as I'd hoped, but good enough for it not to be high on my upgrade list now.

I've been fiddling with the settings (there isn't much to fiddle with) and It's still not good. She asked me yesterday if I was sure we got the upgraded stereo which is a very bad sign. We are coming from a 2006 Mustang with the Shaker system (different head unit so no processing) and the B&O is a big downgrade. I did adjust it some more last night and I "think" I have it less bad by moving the fader 1 notch back, turning on surround and increasing the Bass.

It's bad that she has Bass envy compared to my 2000 honda civic that just has a single Savard 6.5" subwoofer with 500 watts going to it.

At this point it looks like I will be doing (or paying someone to install) the DSR1 plus a couple amps and maybe a different sub.

Turn it up for a while, even if you're not in the car. It's gotten a bit better with some break in.
