Very exciting! I have never seen, let alone be it my own car, to see over 1k hp on a Dyno. My car weighs around 3800 pounds and have been 154.44 mph in the 1/4 with my Hellhorse Twin Turbo kit. Stock gen 3 short block, OPG/CS, Pac springs, ARP studs and Cometic gaskets but stock everything else. Lethal Performance fuel System.

9.5 with a terrible 1.8 60ft not leaving under boost in first gear. stock converter. if we can get that 60ft to drop a few tenths, we should be an 8 second car all day.

Yeah, I'm less concerned with glory numbers as I am with the part about it being a stock motor and handling 1000 hp.

Too many times we see similar claims for unbuilt motors but when you examine the results you see that the motor didn't actually make the claimed total, it WOULD have made those numbers in standard conditions (i.e. corrected).

I have no problem with corrections, that's how we get any sort of comparable sense between 2 cars under very different conditions.

But we see a lot of dyno sheets on stock motors where the motor didn't actually SEE/FEEL the amount of torque and hp, it's a "corrected" number of what the motor WOULD HAVE FELT had it been a pull with better temp/pressure/humidity.

1k whp is not a problem for a gen2 or gen3. The problem is how long will she last. I would start building a short block.

To my knowledge AED has the stock coyote record at 1200whp and they did it with a gen2

Def 1k. 10spd does push mph up though, but thats splitting hairs. As soon as it hooks, it will go 8s. At the end of the day, shits fast.

id have engine money on standby!!!

you can make 1200 wheel on a stock block, its just a matter for how long. i peronsally wouldn't recommend deeping it at that level if you don't have funds to replace the engine.
