I've had the SLP Loudmouth II for a few years now. Just had the X-pipe installed today. Drone is INSANE between around 1900-2500rpm. Like a drone hotbox inside the entire cabin. Cracking the windows would help with the SLP's alone, but now it's horrible. Sounds very good above that range, though.
What are my options for Axle-Back systems that are known not to drone but still to be decently loud, nearly as loud as Roush, etc... But keep the "GTR" sound in the top end?
Here's a short (ish) driving video which will hopefully describe what I mean. I got a bit too rev happy in the video. My car does not have the crazy tire-spinning power it appears to here. It was very wet and I was short shifting because I'm still breaking in a new clutch.
