Your definition of the "door sill" is the same as mine. It is the wide sill with the lighted 'Mustang' logo. No water should get in there, but there is no seal to prevent water from getting onto the narrow sill below it.So what does everyone consider the door sill area?
I washed my GT on Saturday and decided to pay attention due to this thread. I do get water on the "sill" area on the lower door BUT there is nothing on my lighted door sills that say Mustang, that door sill plate is dry so I believe this is perfectly normal as all other cars I have owned usually get water it that general area.
