You did not quote from that article. What was your original source? Wiki?

From your link

Before and after 1918, most influenza pandemics developed in Asia and spread from there to the rest of the world. Confounding definite assignment of a geographic point of origin, the 1918 pandemic spread more or less simultaneously in 3 distinct waves during an ≈12-month period in 1918–1919, in Europe, Asia, and North America (the first wave was best described in the United States in March 1918). Historical and epidemiologic data are inadequate to identify the geographic origin of the virus (21), and recent phylogenetic analysis of the 1918 viral genome does not place the virus in any geographic context (19).

Not seeing how this will be possible with next to no charging stations available. Guess if you live in Washington, I hope you have no plans on leaving via car come 2030

The biggest thing they are worried about is collecting the equivalent in gas tax. They are putting a lot of time into figuring that out.

Priorities don't ya know.

I can figure that out in 2 seconds, don't ban ICE vehicles. Give incentives on big gas guzzling cars and trucks.

They have zero chance of banning ICE cars anytime soon. Way too many hurdles to overcome for that to happen. Tax being the least of which.

Yep. Power grid. Rare Earth materials for batteries.

Unless they switch to H fuel cells. I'd be all for that!!!

Hello; I have actually considered this. It might be an expensive combo. My biggest decision would be an ICE car or truck. Right now I cannot picture not having a truck.

I was describing you as dense not calling you a name. Again, an odd interpretation.
