I have the Ford Racing touring exhaust in my garage waiting for my Mustang GT, which I will take delivery of on Friday 3/6. The shop that will install the exhaust suggested waiting a week or so before I have it installed. Something about checking out the car for rattles or other noises first. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks!

Probably should've put this in the 5.0 forum. That said, it's not a terrible idea to put some miles on the car to know what, if any, noises or vibrations the car has stock. Some might take a little time to creep up if they will at all. That way, if something isn't right, you can have the dealer address it potentially. If you throw the exhaust on right away they could blame it for exciting things that would otherwise have been quiet.
