I'll give you my 1st impressions after removing it for what it is worth...I didn't expect much of a noticeable difference but was pleasantly surprised.

Now, I also dropped in the Airaid filter in at the same time but what I immediately noticed was better responsiveness, the best way I can explain it is that normal mode seemed like Sport mode and Sport mode was also improved.

Once I removed the trap, I could play the cello and speak seven languages.

I will get it for you, if I remember correctly the number on the tube didn’t pull up any parts, because it’s a piece of the air box.

I found one for sale here on the forum, because nothing came up for a new one.
Is this the part number that you used - FR3Z-9600-J-FR3Z-9C675-B

Alternate Part Number: FR3Z9600J, FR3Z9C675B

Replaces Part Number: FR3Z9600E, FR3Z-9600-E

Right. I never trusted actual data from an real world test ie: getting in the car, going down the road, measuring & collected actual DATA.

Keep living in yer fantasy world.
YEAH cause everyone knows a butt dyno is the gold standard unlike those shitty dynos with all their fancy measurements and software. everybody knows that racing teams, manufacturers, and the entie aftermarket stays the hell away from dynos because they're just snake oil.

just like how everyone knows that plugging up the intake with a restriction doesn't cut down on power, i don't care how many racing organizations require exactly that sort of thing to restrict power output.

So now that I look at, there's people with two different intakes here... GTs with the very obvious filter on the intake box and the Mach 1 with 350-style intake tube. What are we talking about for the trap on the Mach 1? The little odd shaped box hanging off of the tube?
