Quick question how noticeable is the difference in spool time compared to the stock turbo? I'm not expecting it to spool as fast as the stock turbo ofcourse.

Quick question how noticeable is the difference in spool time compared to the stock turbo? I'm not expecting it to spool as fast as the stock turbo ofcourse.
From what I have read, 4k seems to be the full spool mark....but not 100%

2016 mustang gt base manual 3.31
do you need to upgrade from the stock pipes to run this turbo? Downpipe or intake or charge pipe?

From what I've read around 3800-4k is full spool, so on the slower side compared to set ups that make similar power.
If by full spool if you mean 30 psi then yes its around there, but on the street the car is making 10 psi by 2850, 15 by 3175, 20 by 3490. By 20 psi the car is already becoming a handful to drive, and the last 10 psi comes on seamlessly. I actually prefer this power band for the AT car, as its better for the strip, but in an MT car, the faster spooling turbo would be more fun on the street.

Thanks for posting the graph. Yeah the 30psi is what I was referring to. Now seeing this I know I likely would only be doing 20-25psi. How much power at 20psi is it making on this pull?
