agreed- I put the blank lid on for a few weeks, but just now ordered the letter kit and will copy yours.

Hi - Looks like Ford’s designers won this contest hands down. 53% is a pretty clear victory. Even if you add the opposition votes together, a 6% margin of victory is comfortable by most standards... Bruce

Have to agree with Ronin47, I like the dog bowl. I do like #3 though. just can't bring myself to defile the exterior, looks too much like a sleeper to start messing with the exterior. side window louvers is the extent I will go only because the original movie car had them.

I like 3. The only complaint Car & Driver had was the big round stock Bullitt badge. They suggested replacing it with a GT one. I don't really mind it but 3 is more elegant and seems better on the badgeless car.

The whole idea of staying true to the original was removal of all of that bright work and badges, but keeping the chrome around the grill. Less is more, and this is definitely a candidate for that. Also, if people ask what it is then you can tell them.
