Hey fellas -

Got the plates on at the recommended track settings and today I noticed on right turns only I was getting what felt to be rubbing and a fair amount of feedback through the steering wheel.

Would this be related to that? Also installed a new xpipe and the headers - although not sure anything would be rubbing on either of those.

Thoughts?

Stock wheels and tires? I remember some folks lately were running 325 square.

Full alignment?

Remove and inspect the wheels / tires for contact; inspect the wheel wells, struts, knuckles, etc. for contact.

Check that the strut mounting bolts are correctly tightened.

If you installed the plates yourself, did you inspect the the strut bushings that fit into the bearings? I had to replace one that was not manufactured correctly.

Stock up front, 325 on the rear.

One thing I did notice though about the 'Track Alignment' is how much easier the car rolled into turns. I drove yesterday with mostly just one hand on the steering wheel - other on the shifter.

Previous outings before the alignment I was battling a fair bit with two hands on the wheel.

Good to note that the track I was on was not a very fast track. 2.4KM long with minimum straights.

I've read a guy had some rubbing with headers on sharp turns. Believe he was running arh but that may not matter much depending on where and if it's the headers rubbing. But don't rule them out.

Very very good chance this is it as well bro. Installed a set of Kooks long tubes and this was the first day tracking with them.
