    Most excellent.

Wouldn't mind a GT500 long block if my motor ever gives out. Wonder what $$$$ was involved with the long block and blower that they threw in that car.

I think you can get the service engine for about $22K which is about 4K more than the GT350 replacement. Don't know if that includes blower.

So, this means 6speed swaps will be an option in a few weeks.
Cant wait till all the " Manual Only" guys finally get to place an order now.. cause thats why their not buying one, right?

I believe he mentioned MT82 in the video.
Tremec would’ve been my choice too.

I'm assuming that they also swapped to the Tremec Manual unit...don't think the Getrag would be up to lasting very long...

The hard part is getting all the electronics to work...the ECU and sensors. A guy did the manual swap to a GT3 RS, when it only had the PDK available from the factory. Another guy did a six speed swap to a Q60 coupe too. The hardware part for all of them is not bad, but the ECU work is really hard and expensive.

Who will be the first to swap a GT500 engine into a GT350? Maybe I will if my engine ever gives out. GT500 engine with a better manual transmission. ;)

BB: I expect there are quite a few folks here who would strongly disagree with "a better manual transmission." I think the facts are out there that show otherwise. If this weren't the case, all these other manufacturers wouldn't be putting DCT's in their HIPO vehicles.

Finally, the Mach 1 Ford should have built (maybe with the gt350 transmission though...).

I think he referring to the MT82 tranny in the GT, which is not as good as the T6 Tremec in the 350....but I digress.....you know Porsche did decide to offer up the GT3 and GT3 RS with a manual tranny again.....after saying they would quit doing it in past the 997.2....just saying...

The MT-82 can barely handle 435Hp let alone 760

GT3RS is dct only. Porsche is very adamant about that.
