I feel that if someone has deep enough pockets to buy this transmission, have enough to buy the rest of the car it’s meant for (Mustang GT4)

The GT4 is $245k (we know we own one) this transmission and a car is roughly $100k - which is a far cry, especially considering the GT350 with this transmission is far faster (again, we know, we own both).

Not a loaded question . What kind of lap time difference is there with something like this?

Impressive, but part of the appeal and allure of the GT350/R is manual.

Honestly, if I want to transition to paddles, I’ll keep my 350R and get on the forever never-ending story called the C8Z06.

This is a manual transmission, but instead of shifting with a knob you use paddles. This is not a DCT, it’s not going to shift for you at all. There is no computer doing anything. You can do no clutch upshifts. My Ducati is similar, I use the clutch to start moving…but once going I do clutch less upshifts and for downshift I let off the gas and bang the downshifts. It took a while for my brain to figure it out, but I can pin the throttle and rip through the gears, no clutch needed.

So, it depends on the track, a track that requires alot of shifting will benefit more from this trans than a track that has minimal # of shifts, with that said, the improved gear ratio and far faster shifts are good for 1-1.5 seconds on a track that has 1:30 lap times.

Amazing! But I think I'd rather sell my GT350 and take that plus the 30k toward a 2023 Z06.

Imagine this paired with the twin turbo fathouse setup. Also do ceramic brakes as well.
