MY stock clutch has gone out again. Spirited pull and that was all she wrote. I'm sure the disc fell apart like last time. Not going to even bother with dealership.
2015 GT with 13k miles. Car has flex fuel tune, x-pipe, suspension mods, 305's. Will do about 3 dragstrip passes a year, but don't want the fear of breaking while driving a little hard on street. no other mods planned. pretty much stock with flex tune.

Looking at Exedy mach 500. Good reviews
Looking at RST Mixed reviews. seems some have had issues
Dont think I'll need Ceramic, Kevlar, .....

Any thoughts? Looking for everything including clutch line, flywheel bolts (if need to be replaced)

Are you constantly side stepping the clutch? I've had 3 procharged gts a 15 a 17 and a 19 and only changed the clutch to a mantic because of clutch lock out. I was looking at the centerforce clutch but being sprung it is expensive and almost as much as a mantic, the mantics are great on the 15 to 17 cars they have had many issues on 18 and up d4s

side stepping?? Is that like revving and dumping? I'll occasionally bang through a few gears getting on the highway to make my wife :curse: lol, but no I don't rev and dump it.

When it failed it was a downshift to 2nd, stand on it til quick shift into 3rd, then junk. still drives with bad shudder. I'm sure its high RPM shifts causing disc to fly apart. Been A LOT of those issues with stock clutch.

For N/A FBO setups I really like the Exedy Mach 500. It really is a great combo and will hold up street and even some strip passes that you plan. Pedal feel is great as well. If you plan to eventually add boost you could go McLeod RST, RXT or even a Mantic. Hit me up and we can get you dialed in for sure!

The 500 will be fine as long as you avoid the burnouts or high clutch dumps.

if you think that’s in the cards. Then I would step up to the 600.
