Close up pic of the Bullitt grille showing just how much of the honeycomb is sealed around the air inlet. It would be interesting to know if/or how much Ford have changed the structure around the GT350 intake behind this new grille and how this would affect a Velossa Tech install....or indeed if one would even fit.

Those owners with a dremel would have a ball here:

The factory air box has a scoop that’s similar to the Velosa Tech scoop. I kept min in place after transitioning over the the PMAS CAI kit. It feeds air directly to the filter For a cooler charge. I may look at opening up the honeycombs for better airflow.

For anybody interested in taking a Dremel to the grille openings, on the back side there is a molded-in template. Picture is from my dual horn upgrade to my 2019 Bullitt.
When I find the time, I'd like to hit mine with my RotoZip.

You don't need to use a dremel to open up the grill. If you remove the bumper and grill from the car, its actually easier and cleaner to grind/sand off the solid backside of the grill to open up all the honeycombs. Your basically removing the solid back surface of the grill leaving only the honeycomb. I did this on my GT grill to get the most from my Velossa Tech snorkel. No obstructed air going to my VMP Gen3R now.
Hope this helps!

@Silveryote, that’s a great idea! Way to think outside of the box. Nothing beats a mod that turns out flawless.. It’s very obvious that you exercised great care in doing this. Double thumbs up to you !

I used that exact method and it worked really well (used a mini belt sander) :

Nice work, that really looks alot like the thinned out grille on the GT500. That was the result I was after.
