Have a friend selling some velgen vmb8 wheels for a awesome deal. He had them on his 2014 mustang. The sizes are 20x9 up front with a +32 offset and a 20x10.5 with a +40 offset out back. Will these fit my 2017 gt properly? And also what tire sizes are recommended with these offsets? Going to lower it some to. Thanks

The wheels will work on your car,
standard fitment, the only thing you may need to change is tire sizes

Will the +40 out back sit pretty flush? And what size tires would you recommend?

Hey man thanks for the offer but I'm getting these for under $700 I doubt you'd want to go that low lol.

Curious if he's going to have to drill the lug holes. Didn't the previous gen have 12mm (or 1/2") lugs?

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Could be a deal breaker for me.

When I traded in my 13 I kept the wheels. They fit fine. You just can't use the lug nuts he had. Need to get some aftermarket made for the 15+. AM sells low profile tuner lugs for $30 but you can get them about anywhere.

As for the tires that's up to your budget. If you want inexpensive 255/35 in the front 275/35 out back. But you can go up to 275/35 up front and maybe even 315 out back. I think ideal from some of the other velgen threads is 275/35 and 295/35

Okay awesome thanks man. And yea I was thinking that's what I'd have to do. And mostly just wandering what size tires I can run with these offsets. I get deals on tires through my work luckily. Hoping I can clear a 305 out back.

You do NOT need to drill anything it's a direct fitment for your vehicle.
WOW $700 is really cheap for a set of wheels.
Post some pics when you get them on the car.

That fitment checks out to be perfect without issues,
As for tires you can easily do a 275/305 tire with a sticky tire for the rear.

Yea they need to be cleaned up a little. I'm going to powdercoat them wanting black and they're silver. And I will do. Will be a few weeks tho. Want to lower it at the same time.

Awesome thank you man that's what I was wanting to hear. Can I do a 35 series tire? And if I do eibach pro kit springs will I need to adjust camber in the rear so I won't rub?

35 profile front and back is my recommendation and pro kit 1" drop works -2 degrees rear camber and your good.
